Moving House

As the sun shines in the UK, spring is springing and Easter is coming up fast. The traditional UK housing market seems to go up a gear around Easter, which comes just in time to stop the post-Christmas momentum from dropping off completely.

So in this brave new web-savvy world. Exactly what tools are available to aid the process of finding your dream home.

Rightmove

Probably the most popular website to search for houses on, this website is the UK’s largest residential property portal. Estates agents, rental agents and new home developers pay Rightmove to display details of properties for sale or rent on the Rightmove Website. You can search by location, price range and number of bedrooms, to narrow down the list of houses to a shortlist of suitable properties. After viewing the details of the house, you can then save your favourite properties to your user area (free registration required).
Favourite feature: well it’s the combination we love of details, aerial camera shots and the new Google Streetview which allow you to get a real feel for a house without leaving your keyboard.
